1. Detoxify your skin
  • Try a few days WITHOUT deodorant before begining a natural alternative, to allow your body to detoxify.
  • Stick to natural fabrics to stay odor-free when starting out.
2. Choose the right deodorant for your skin type
  • Patch test before use - not all deo's are right for everyone.
  • It's normal for your body to react to new things. Your body has got confortable with aluminium clogging your pores, so it's natural for your skin to flair up slightly - it's having withdrawals!
  • Some natural deodorants contain bicarb soda to help reduce odor, which you might find isn't right for your skin or you are allergic - if this is the case your skin may react to the bicarb soda itself, so don't be put off by natural alternatives - keep looking!
